Now let me give you the lowdown on this product. For me, this product worked well. When the unit powers down, the frequency used to reset in the older version of the product. In this version if you turn off the unit, it remembers the frequency. I found it quite simple to tune the FM transmitter, and the iPod mini was secured with the help of the iPod holder.
One problem I had was with FM transmission - that is a common problem with all transmitters. The transmitters generally pick up static and gives poor sound quality when the radio signals are weak. When I commute to work - a long distance, the strengths of the frequency change and I need to change the frequency.
Do not expect the highest quality of music from this or any FM transmitter. This is only possible if your iPod is connected to your car sterio. However within the limitations of FM, this unit works well.
