Silicrylic a rubber case – X shaped rear plastic frame combination is priced at $20. Three new caases have been released by Incipio for the second gen iPod and Silicrylic is one of them. The name sounds slick so is the case as good as it sounds? Lets find out. There is a video stand and a clear screen protector. The Silicrylic is available in three colors.

The idea is to combine the good points of plastic and rubber and benefit from their individual advantages. Non distinctive, yet a tad appealing overall, this case has a matte finish that makes it stable in the hand.  A reasonable amount of bulk is added to the iPod by this case. It adds more bulk than Feather and Duroshot.

Just Mobile Xtand for iPod touch IG + 2G

Close on the heels of Xtand for iPhone comes the Xtand for the iPod Touch 1G + 2G. This baby will cost you $40 and is definitely worth thinking about. It is an A rated product. Almost exactly the same as the Xtand for iPhone and iPhone 3G, The Xtand for iPod Touch comprises an aluminum table stand, a rotating iPod touch mount and a screw set that joins these two. Also included are rubber edge clips 4*2 which keep the iPod in place.

Access to the Dock Connector and headphone ports as well as Sleep/Wake button is available when the iPod is inserted into the mount. Assembling the Xtand is a simple procedure and not one to worry about. It works well with both 1G and 2G Touch’s.
