This Mobile Power Pack by APC is worth $61.46 on Amazon for a new device. It works great. Any mobile device that uses the USB as a power source can be charged using it. I have an iPod as well as a PSP. Both charge beautifully with this device.
It was not as large as I expected and held its charge better than I thought. I use other APC products at home and this works just as well as the others. I carry it around in my pant pocket at times and it fits well.
I have had this for three weeks and once I did not use this for more than a week after fully charging it. When I tried to use it I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was at full charge. This seems like a small thing but in emergency situations it counts.
I do not know how much time it adds to my devices as it has always had more power than I need. In addition to my iPod it charges my PSP. Commonly it is thought that the PSP does not get charged from a USB. However with the right kind of cable it does! I use a great retractable cable by MadCatz for the purpose.
Although before buying the UPB10 I thought it was expensive, its quality and usefulness have made it well worth it.
