Myvu Crystal 701 iPod Edition Review

Myvu along with Korea’s INNO Design has recently developed a more stylish frame for wearable video display. This is the Crystal 701 which is priced at $300 and is designed to work with present generation iPod nano, touch and classic models.

 The Crystal 701 edition includes the usual components. The box contains one pair of sunglass-like goggles with non-removable ear buds attached to it, a remote control for controlling volume, power and brightness and a Dock Connector cable. Included in the pack is a plain fabric carrying bag, three sets of silicone tips for the ear buds and a USB cable for recharging. The good thing about the Crystal 701 is that it’s the best 640×840 wearable video display yet made for the iPods. (more…)

iSkin Fuze for iPhone Review: Stylish Protection!

The Toronto-based iSkin for years shown great innovation for years when it comes to designing iPod protection. Experimenting with mixtures of hard and soft plastic, it has given us a variety of options such as the eVo2, eVo3 and Claro. Its latest offering is Fuze for the iPhone, which integrates thin rubber layers onto separate rear and front shells. 

 The Fuze even though somewhat late in arriving, is undoubtedly iSkin’s most remarkable dual-material case yet. The case has a thick polycarbonate plastic layer on the outside with a thin soft rubber layer on the inside. The look is enhanced by the soft two-tone coloring and rubber accents. As seen from the outside, it is clear, black and silver while the rear is wholly black and interlocks together at the top and sides. (more…)
